I've done DaVinci with as low as an AMD 7950 3gb (meh and unacceptable for me), GTX680 4gb (nice), GTX780 3gb (nicer) and now a GTX Titan X 12gb GPU (beastly). if your using proxies not too much worries but if your simply running 1080 and plan to use lots of nodes you need a beefy GPU.
as convenient as Lumetri is its nowhere close to DaVinci if you looking to make things happen.įirst off DaVinci needs GPU power to keep in playing in "real time".
playback is smooth as long as you have a 3-4gb gpu. the real xtra bonus for Lumetri is that it runs in complete "real time". Lumetri for PP CC was an incredible "add" for that software compared to the very horrible 3 way color corrector and other coloring plugins.
